Aegean Airlines is a member of Star Alliance, Greece’s largest airline providing at their inception in 1999 until today, full service, premium quality short and medium haul services.

Best Regional Airline Europe 2016
Aegean has been honored with the Skytrax World Airline Award for the seventh time, as the Best Regional Airline in Europe.

On 23rd October 2013 Aegean Airlines acquired Olympic Air; as a result, passengers now have increased flight frequencies and connections as well as improved accessibility to Greece’s islands, including some of the more remote, both for visitors and Greeks alike.

Aegean Airlines constantly invest in new and sophisticated aircraft as well as on control systems, technical support and training the staff. By early 2016, important investments were made in the purchase of 7 new Airbus A320’s, reaching in total the number of 61 aircraft. Goal is to continue investing in fleet, and to enhance one of the main competitive advantages – the low average age of our aircraft.

Aegean Airlines has two weekly seasonal flights to Finland during the summer time.
Direct flights from Helsinki to Athens and Athens to Helsinki on Mondays to Fridays between 27th March – 27 Oct 2017. Flight number from Athens A3816 and from Helsinki A3817.
